TRAINING OF SPECIALISTS FOR THE FORMATION OF A LEGAL MECHANISM TO ENSURE NATIONAL SECURITY

Abstract

The article considers the current state and problems of national security of Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to the formation of regulatory security. Much attention is also paid to the training of legal professionals. It is noted that legal education in Ukraine is being reformed today. In this regard, the direction of training of specialists in legal security of national security needs serious changes. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to the methods of teaching legal disciplines in higher educational institutions of Ukraine and the practical preparation of students for work. Today, the sphere of state security requires not only carefully prepared regulatory and legal support, but also the organization and implementation of the appropriate level of education and upbringing of students in order to form highly qualified specialists. It is also important to pay considerable attention to the formation of a high level of awareness of the legal security of national security. The reasons are given and the unresolved issues of the organization of training in this field are outlined. It is proposed to change the form of education in higher education institutions, as students need to be taught critical thinking, the ability to analyze situations and apply their knowledge in practice. Therefore, more attention should be paid to practical tasks. As a result of the study we want to draw attention to the fact that at the present stage of national security it is necessary to pay attention to the training of specialists who can qualitatively ensure the formation of the legal mechanism for implementing the National Security Strategy. In this regard, in the process of teaching legal disciplines in higher educational institutions of Ukraine it is necessary to pay special attention to practical teaching methods that contribute to the formation of skills and logical completion of the cognitive process. Students’ practical work should be aimed at using the acquired knowledge in solving practical problems.
