THE NATIONAL IDEA IN THE STRUCTURE OF CRIMINALISTIC TECHNOLOGY (AN INVITATION TO DISCUSSION)

Abstract

The article explores the national idea as a conceptual factor within the structure of criminalistic technology for combating crime. It outlines the logical and functional framework of criminalistic technology, which encompasses ideological, political, strategic, tactical, technical, and operational levels. The integration of the national idea into these components provides the system with a worldview and value-based foundation, transforming it from a set of methods into a holistic mechanism aimed at protecting human rights, state security, and national identity.It is argued that the national idea functions as an integrative framework within which strategic directions, tactical decisions, and technical operations for the prevention, detection, and investigation of crimes are implemented. Particular attention is devoted to the practical aspects of incorporating the national idea into criminalistic activity: shaping a security- oriented ideology in professional training, applying digital technologies to enhance transparency and public trust in law enforcement institutions, and strengthening the moral and psychological foundations of the security system.The study concludes that the national idea ensures the internal unity of criminalistic technology by integrating legal, scientific, and state-building principles into a unified system for protecting society from crime. In this context, criminalistics appears not merely as an applied legal science but as a technological mechanism of national security, resilience, and sovereignty of Ukraine.
